31st Frank Brown International Songwriter's Festival

Annual Frank Brown Int'l Songwriter's Festival

Florida-Alabama Gulf Coast Music Festival

The annual festival on the north Gulf Coast honors the late Frank Brown, a night watchman at the Flora-Bama for 28 years, and whose moral values, integrity and strength of character made a lasting impression on the many people that knew him. The festival features Grammy Award winning songwriters and new music stars of tomorrow, everyone steps into the spotlight to perform original songs in multiple locations in beautiful Perdido Key & Pensacola, Florida and Orange Beach & Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Festival attendees experience an up close and personal concert experience and are often able to learn the stories behind the songs as told by the original author. Venues of all kinds welcome almost 200 songwriters that come from around the country and around the world.  Whether you are looking for a "listening room" experience, a pleasant dinner with a music venue, family friendly musical entertainment or a rock-the-house roadhouse, FBISF will have a place for you.

Most venues are free to attend; some charge a modest cover at the door. The Southeast Tourism Society has named the Frank Brown International Songwriters' Festival as one of the top 20 events in the Southeast.
