2013 PGA TOUR Tampa Bay Championship at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club

An official PGA TOUR event, the Tampa Bay Championship is a 72-hole that
includes week-long activities. The tournament is a proud part of the PGA
Tour Florida Swing - a group of four top-flight tournaments in as many
weeks on outstanding courses - the Copperhead, PGA National, Bay Hill
and Doral.

The tournament has a new name and logo, though the Tampa Bay
Championship will be played with the same $5.5 million purse in its
customary date on the schedule – third week of the Florida Swing – as
part of the PGA TOUR's FedExCup competition. The tournament will again
be broadcast by NBC Sports,GolfChannel and other PGA TOUR broadcast

Luke Donald, the world's number one player for much of 2012, is the
defending champion. The tournament on Florida's central gulf coast has
been a full-field PGA TOUR event since 2000, and has been held in the
spring since the beginning of the FedExCup in 2007. Copperhead Charties,
Inc. organizes the event which has generated nearly $30 million for
Tampa Bay area charities via various golf events since 1977. The
Copperhead Course was ranked as one of the top 10 courses on the PGA
TOUR in a 2012 survey of PGA TOUR members.
